Imbue was written to be included as part of Chad's DMA Dissertation on the solo drumming style of Dave Weckl. The solo was inspired by the drumming styles of Weckl, hence the title Imbue. It is written for a five piece drum set and works best if performed with at least two crash cymbals and two splash cymbals.

Amazing Grace (2010) an arrangement for Solo Tenor Pan
Duration 5:00
Hands Down was originally written for the 2010 Kentucky Collegiate MENC Fall Conference as a demonstration of basic hand drumming technique. The piece was modified a year later to include the use of brushes and bundlz sticks. Instrumentation includes a set of bongos, a set of two congas (quinto and conga preferably), and a djembe.
This arrangement of Amazing Grace begins with the traditional melody presented in the low register of the pan. The melody is then arranged inside of subtle rhythmic phrasing before giving way to triplet arpeggios in the upper register. The last part of the work utilizes fragments of the melody to accompany lyrical melodic explorations.
